We are committed to protecting your privacy. The Privacy Policy set forth below governs your eDough account and any information that you provide on www.edough.com (the "Web site").




Section 1: About eDough


The Web site allows users to purchase and use eDough as an all cash payment solution at any merchant that accepts eDough. This privacy policy, taken together with our Terms of Use Agreement, governs your interaction with eDough. We will not release any of your personally identifiable information to any other eDough users or any third parties without your consent and except as set forth in this privacy policy. eDough reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time. We will post the date of the most recent modification on this privacy policy and on the privacy policy link on the home page.




Section 2: Information Collected From Our Users


When a user opens an account and purchases eDough on the Web site, we will gather the user's name, address, phone number, valid e-mail address, bank account information, including name of the bank, wire transfer instructions and bank account number (collectively, the "Personally Identifiable Information"). Once you have set up your eDough account, you must select a User ID and Password in order to access your account. Once you have established an eDough account, your eDough User ID and Password will allow you to shop at all merchant sites that accept eDough. Your eDough User ID and Password will be used to identify the transactions that you make at a particular merchant.


Once you have completed a transaction with a merchant, we will collect from the merchant the merchant name, date of the transaction and the amount of purchase. You will also have the option of choosing to make each particular merchant transaction "discreet" in which case we will not collect any data from the merchant.




Section 3: Use of Information


eDough will use the Personally Identifiable Information in order to establish your eDough account. Once your eDough account has been established, we will also use the Personally Identifiable Information allow you to purchase eDough as you request and to process transactions between you and merchants.


eDough will retain all information received from merchants regarding your transactions. Retention of information is so that we may preserve your account history. Transaction history will only be presented to someone who provides the User ID and Password assigned to you when you created your eDough account. It is essential that you safeguard your User ID and Password and do not share that information with anyone. We may also use the transaction information we collect from you and from merchants to help us trace fraudulent activity.


We reserve the right to store any information about your use of the Web site so that we may provide a higher level of service to our customers or to diagnose and analyze technical issues that may arise from time to time. We will never share any of that information in a way that discloses your Personally Identifiable Information.




Section 4: Use of "Cookie" Files and IP Addresses


We may use "cookie" files to enhance the use of the Web site for both registered and non-registered visitors. A "cookie" is a small text file placed on your computer's hard drive by our Web page server in order to recognize that you have visited our site before, and to apply the configuration preferences that you have chosen. Other than the information that you provide, cookie files do not contain information that can be used to identify you. Third parties cannot access our cookie files. By modifying the settings of your Web browser, you can determine if and how a cookie will be accepted. We do not require that you accept cookies in order to use our site and our services.


We collect IP addresses (the Internet address of your computer) from both registered and non-registered visitors to our Web site. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.




Section 5: Our E-Mail Policy


Once you have created an eDough account, we may use the email address you provided when you established your eDough account in order to contact you regarding your eDough account or for other customer service purposes. We will also use your email address to answer your email and customer service requests we receive. In order to provide consistent high-quality customer service, we may store any correspondence with you in a file specific to you.




Section 6: Shared Information


Except for the specific circumstances set forth below, we will not share your Personally Identifiable Information with outside parties without your consent.


As permitted by law, we share all categories of your personally identifiable information with third parties as necessary (i) to service or process a transaction that you request or authorize (e.g. customer service center), (ii) for the purpose of purchasing or redeeming eDough from your eDough account (e.g. data processors), and (iii) to verify the source used to purchase eDough for your eDough account (e.g. credit card processors). Such outside parties are required by contract to use your information for these limited purposes only.


We will provide Personally Identifiable Information, as described above, to law enforcement agencies or other appropriate entities in the event of fraud or misuse of an eDough account or if otherwise required to do so by law or court order. In addition, if we receive a subpoena or other legal process demanding release of information about your eDough account, we will disclose the information. If permitted by law, we will use reasonable efforts to contact you in advance of the release of information to notify you of the demand.




Section 7: Our Commitment to Data Security


Safeguarding your privacy online is taken very seriously at eDough. The Web site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We employ all industry standard security measures in order to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information.


We restrict access to your Personally Identifiable Information to customer service representatives for purposes of responding to your requests and information technology staff for purposes of fixing technical problems.




Section 8: How You Can Access or Correct Your Information


You can access and update all of your Personally Identifiable Information that we collect online. To access or update this information, go to the www.edough.com Web site. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. You can also correct factual errors in your Personally Identifiable Information by sending us a request that credibly shows what the errors are.

Section 9: Notification of Changes


This privacy policy may be revised over time as new features are added to eDough's service. Should we decide to use or disclose your personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time we collected the information, you will have a choice as to whether or not we use or disclose your information in this new manner. Any material changes will be effective only after we provide you by e-mail with at least 30 days' notice of the amended privacy policy so long as you have an active eDough account.


We will post the amended privacy policy on the Web site, www.edough.com so that you can always review what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone.




Section 10: Children's Privacy


Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never knowingly collect or maintain information at our Web site from children under 13, and no part of our Web site is structured to attract anyone under 13. Due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that none of our customers are under 13, however, our Terms of Use asks users to confirm that they are 18 or older. Moreover, customers who use bank accounts as the funding mechanism for eDough accounts provides an additional layer of age verification.
